I spent this morning at a private location in Cheshire looking for Long-eared owls. Two birds were seen through the thermal imager; one was not visible in the undergrowth, but the other bird eventually showed itself in the morning sun.

A lovely morning of birdwatching and great to spot this rare species in Cheshire.
