BLUE WINGED TEAL-NEUMANN'S FLASH-NORTHWICH
As I was on my annual birding holiday in Shetland, patch regular Greg Baker found a mega bird for my local patch in Northwich, a Blue-winged Teal. I didn't think it would stick around, and after two frustrating attempts, I finally connected with this elusive bird today.

5 Whooper Swan flew east over Thurstaston Shore.
Snow Bunting which flew west - Hilbre.
8 Cattle Egret,Ruddy Shelduck and 5 Whooper Swan - Burton Mere Wetlands.
5 Whooper Swan,2 Short-eared Owl,5 Great Egret flew into roost,12 Egyptian Goose and a Siskin calling - Burton Point.
