I called in at Lilbourne Nature Reserve today as I was passing through Northamptonshire and got cracking views of a Lesser Yellowlegs.
Apparently, the last record of this species in Northamptonshire was 29 years ago! Other birds on site were a Pectoral Sandpiper,2 Green Sandpipers and 6 Yellow Wagtails.
