GLOSSY IBIS-RHUDDLAN-FLINTSHIRE

This morning, I visited North Wales and was delighted to connect with a stunning Glossy Ibis. The bird had been discovered late yesterday afternoon, and fortunately it remained in the area, allowing me to enjoy excellent views today.

This individual was distinct from the one I missed back in late January at Traeth Glaslyn Nature Reserve, Porthmadog, as it showed worn coverts. In pristine condition and striking in appearance, it was a truly rewarding sighting — well worth the drive.
