Bidston-A Firecrest was still with a tit flock on the east side of the main lake on the 24th which was found the previous day.
Red Rocks-A Slavonian Grebe was off Red Rocks early afternoon,also 2 Little Gulls flew past.
Hilbre Island-A Richards Pipit flew over Little Eye towards West Kirby saltmarsh(PIC HERE) on the 24th and a Yellow Browed Warbler was found on 29th in the new observatory garden and was still around on the 30th.(PIC HERE).
Burton RSPB-The five Cattle Egrets remained all week showing well from the reception hide on the reserve.On the 26th 2 Garganey were found with one still being reported on the 31st.On Burton Marsh 6 Great White Egrets were seen on the 25th and by the 31st this number had risen to over twelve the first time on the estuary we have seen double figures!
Hoylake-A Siberian Chiffchaff was calling and showing well in seafront gardens at King's Gap end of promenade on the 31st.
Parkgate Old Baths-A Bittern was seen in flight mid afternoon on the 28th and was still present on the 31st near the Boat house pub though elusive.A Male Hen Harrier and two Ringtail females are still showing well daily with a Marsh Harrier on the 28th.
Meols-5000 Common Scoter were still present off East Hoylake bank after high tide and showing daily.
Thurstaston Shore-3,500 Black Tailed Godwits were present on the 25th along with 1 Curlew Sandpiper on the 29th.
Denhall Quay-5 Short Eared Owls were showing well on the 31st with 2 Female Marsh Harriers remaining in the area.A male Hen Harrier and 1 Ringtail female have been present in the area since the 29th and still being seen daily.
Moreton-Lingham Lane-1 Siberian Chiffchaff was found on the 28th.
CHESHIRE BIRD SIGHTINGS
Hale-A Yellow Browed warbler was west of Hale Hall in Hale Park on the 25th another was in a private garden on the 27th.2 Great White Egrets flew into Decoy wood on the 31st.
Pickerings Pasture-A Yellow Browed Warbler was with a tit flock in trees by the feeders in car park on the 27th.
Chelford-Lapwing Hall Pool-2 Black Necked Grebes were present on the 31st.
Newchurch Common-A 1st-winter drake Red Crested Pochard was on Sandiway Big Pool on the 25th and was joined by a Redhead Smew on the 31st.
Northwich-Neumann's Flash-The female Scaup was still present from the 24th to the 30th.
Sandbach Flashes-A Rock Pipit was found on the 24th and then flew towards Railway Flash.The Great White Egret still remains on the 31st.(PIC HERE)
Shakerley Mere-2 Shags flew west over on the 27th.
Woolston Eyes-A Juvenile Hen Harrier was found on the 28th and was still around on the 30th bearing a satellite transmitter.
Frodsham Marshes-5 Curlew Sandpiper were present on N06 Tank on the 29th.2 Common Scoter were present on the 30th when they flew towards the Weaver sluices.
