FIRST MOTH TRAP OF THE YEAR

With nighttime temperatures consistently above 10°C and plenty of sunshine during the day, conditions were perfect for moth activity. I set up my first moth trap of the year last night, eager to see which early-season species might emerge.

This morning, I was rewarded with two new species, marking a promising start to the season. The warmth and light activity suggest that spring is truly underway, and I’m looking forward to many more early-season moths in the weeks ahead.
