I called in at Frodsham Marshes on the way back from Norfolk today and connected with a Great Grey Shrike that had been found yesterday. The bird was always distant and flighty, but thankfully, it had hung around for me to see it.

The last record of Great Grey shrike in Cheshire and Wirral was again at Frodsham marshes and was seen around the ICI tank on the 15th and 16th of October 2015.
