FIRE DESTROYS FAIR ISLE OBSERVATORY

I just couldn't believe the news this afternoon, on our WhatsApp group, that Fair Isle Bird Observatory was on fire. My thoughts go out to everyone on Fair Isle and especially the Parnaby family, who have lost their home and all their possessions. I know the birding community will gather together, and as soon as more information is available regarding funds for the Observatory, I will let everyone know via this site.
