I spent this afternoon around Eddisbury Hill looking for Tree sparrows, and it didn't take long to locate 2 birds, which showed well in the end.
A Green Woodpecker was also showing well in the same area, calling.
Late afternoon was spent in Delamere Forest again, where I located two Common Crossbills, and then at least another 10 birds flew over, but they couldn't be located in the fading light. #LOCALBIGYEAR
