PALLID HARRIER-A POTENTIAL FIRST FOR CHESHIRE AND WIRRAL

At the end of September, Alan Davies reported an interesting harrier on the Dee marshes. After further observations by other birders, it was confirmed that it was a Pallid Harrier, which could potentially be a first for Cheshire and Wirral. I was on my annual birding break in Shetland and missed the sighting, but my good friend Phil Woollen has written a detailed account of the bird on his blog. [CLICK ON LINK] blog. [CLICK ON LINK]
